How is Your Journey Going?

Has COVID done a number on your physical, emotional and spiritual health? Yup, me too. Here are some practical, easy to follow tips to help you start your day right. Here is a morning routine that has helped me get aligned, recharged and ready to make a difference in the world.

  1. Start your day with heart felt affirmations to create a positive mindset. I have my pinned up on my bathroom wall. So as I brush my teeth I recite empowering words that remind me I am a bright light in this world. Here are some examples of self empowerment affirmations. “Everything is always working out for me.” or “I am eternally grateful for the love I am capable of giving and for the love I have yet to receive.”

  2. Clear and balance the energy in your aura and chakras. Imagine a white flowing down from the the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. It clears, cleanses and lifts your vibration for the day.

  3. Connect and nourish the life force within by a large glass of water upon waking and finding time to move your body through a stretching routine, yoga, tai chi or a long walk.

Remember to always start your day with gratitude. Thank the universe for another wonderful day to try something new. To grow, expand, love and light up the world in your own unique way.

As I Walk in the Forest

Written by Wendy D’Angelo

As I Walk upon the forest floor, carpeted in gold, russet, orange and red,

I am mindful of a divine presence, overhead.

Offering a sense of comfort, peace and harmony,

Asking only for recognition in return.

A recognition that we all share a common journey,

A journey towards unconditional love for divine source.

Blessed with free will to create with our thoughts, words and deeds,

Our life paths leading towards divine reunion are unique and of our own choosing,

As I walk upon the forest path, I notice a single mighty Maple tree that never stands alone,

It holds its place and space within the forest community,

Alive and vibrant.

It honors the changes that comes with natures seasonal cycles.

For the Maple trees surrender and shift with their environment,

For they know there is a reason for every season.

Fall is a time of letting go and gives the opportunity for growth.

Similar to the mighty Maple tree,

We have a place and space,

Within our families, community and with Divine Source.

We never stand alone,

The glorious colors of Autumn remind us to keep the faith,

stay on the journey and express your inner vibrancy.

Autumn’s chilly breezes ignites our internal shift.

It is a time to let our burdens fall to the ground.

It is time to clear out and clean up our current life path.

Let bygones be bygones, let go of unrealistic expectations and past disappointments.

It is a time of letting go of what no longer serves you.

As I continue to walk upon the forest path, carpeted in gold and red,

I silently express gratitude to divine source, overhead.

A forest walk, has gifted me with comfort, peace and harmony,

For I recognize I am part of something much bigger than myself.
